We did and so did many others who attended Meet the Marketers: Cedars last week. The marketing event at Autonomous Society, owned by the one and only Dean Weaver, provided a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for networking among a diverse range of creators and small agencies.

Last Saturday I stopped by Pop Up DFW to check out the latest production by Luscious Barbie. Chances are if you’ve spent a decent amount of time in Dallas, you’ve heard the “Another Dallas Texas Cheeeck!” tagline and it seems that Luscious is always up to something. I’ve attended her comedy shows in the past and I don’t recall ever being disappointed, however this time was particularly delightful. This rather moderate night had one of the most solid comedy line-ups I’ve had the pleasure of seeing recently.

I followed Emone Thomas of Switch Physiques on her debut competition. Emone and I had began documenting her fitness journey in the weeks prior and it all boiled down to one day of fierce competition.

Our coverage of the premier Royal Roundz professional boxing event was one for the ages. The room was filled with former and current champions, the city’s top political figures (including Dallas Mayor, Eric Johnson), and plenty of excited fans.
